Organic cayenne pepper in capsule form, 60 per bottle. The same chilli we sell as a powder, for people who want it in their routine rather than on their food.
Why capsules
- No heat on the tongue. The capsule carries it past your taste buds.
- Measured and consistent. No guessing at teaspoons.
- 60 capsules — a month at two a day.
- Organic cayenne, nothing else but the capsule shell.
- Travels well. A bottle in a bag beats a jar of chilli powder.
What cayenne is
Cayenne is a hot chilli, dried and milled. Its active compound is capsaicin — the same thing that makes fresh chillies burn. It has a long history of culinary and traditional herbal use across West Africa, the Americas and South Asia.
How to take them
Two capsules daily with a meal, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Taking them with food rather than on an empty stomach is more comfortable for most people. Store in a cool, dry place with the lid closed.
A note on comfort
Capsaicin is warming. If you are new to concentrated cayenne, start with one capsule daily and always take it with food. If it causes stomach discomfort, stop.
