Maca is a root vegetable grown high in the Peruvian Andes, dried and milled. It has been eaten as a food there for centuries. This is the capsule form, 60 to a bottle.
What makes this one different
Taste, plainly. Maca powder has a strong malted, earthy, slightly nutty flavour that some people enjoy in a smoothie and many people cannot get past. It is one of the most commonly abandoned powders for exactly that reason. A capsule sidesteps the question.
You also get a consistent amount each time. A spoon of powder varies more than people realise.
Who tends to buy it
People who read about maca, bought the powder, used it twice and left it in the cupboard. Also anyone building a routine of botanical supplements who would rather not add another jar of powder to the kitchen.
How to take it
Two capsules daily with water, ideally with food. Sixty capsules is a month at that rate. Maca is traditionally taken in the earlier part of the day rather than late at night.
