How people use it
- Straight after a bath or shower, on skin that is still damp. This is where a body oil earns its place — it holds the water already on your skin rather than adding any.
- Legs and arms in winter.
- As a massage oil, on its own or blended.
- On hair ends, a small amount worked through.
Oil or cream?
An oil sits lighter and absorbs faster than our body cream, and spreads much further, so a 200ml bottle lasts. The cream is the better choice for very dry patches like heels and elbows. Plenty of people use both — oil over the body, cream on the rough bits.
Getting the most from it
Damp skin, not dry. Pat yourself half-dry with a towel, then apply. On fully dry skin an oil sits on the surface and takes much longer to sink in.
