Tlotsa Body Cream is a rich, everyday body cream made by us in Boksburg with African agave aloe. A generous 250g tub for skin that dries out.
What’s in it
A petroleum jelly base with agave aloe, grown from naturalised African agave. The petroleum jelly forms an occlusive layer that slows water loss from the skin, which is why it suits the parts of you that get dry and stay dry.
Where people use it
- Hands — particularly after washing up or working outside.
- Elbows and knees — the classic dry patches.
- Heels — apply after a bath and put socks on.
- Legs and arms through a Highveld winter, when the air is dry and skin tightens.
Getting the most from it
Apply to slightly damp skin rather than fully dry. A cream that seals moisture in needs moisture there to seal. Straight out of the bath is the right moment.
It is a rich cream, so use less than you think and give it a minute to sink in.
