Tlotsa Herbal Jelly is a petroleum jelly infused with African agave aloe, made by us in Boksburg. A 125g tub for dry skin, lips, elbows and heels.
What’s in it
Petroleum jelly as the base, with agave aloe grown from naturalised African agave. The jelly forms an occlusive layer that slows moisture loss from the skin — which is why it works well on the parts of you that dry out fastest.
Where people use it
- Lips — the most common use, especially through Highveld winters.
- Heels and elbows — apply after a bath, on slightly damp skin.
- Hands after washing.
- Scalp and hairline — a small amount, worked in.
- Babies — a barrier layer at nappy changes.
Getting the most from it
Apply to slightly damp skin rather than dry. Jelly seals moisture in, so there needs to be moisture there to seal. A little goes a long way.
