100% natural olive oil in a 100ml bottle — a simple, single-ingredient oil for skin and hair.
What it’s for
Olive oil is one of the oldest cosmetic oils there is. It is heavier than most, which makes it well suited to dry skin, cracked heels and hair treatments rather than facial use on oily skin.
How people use it
- Hair treatment. Warmed slightly, worked through the lengths, left 30 minutes before washing out.
- Dry skin. Elbows, knees, heels and hands — best applied to slightly damp skin.
- Carrier oil. For diluting essential oils such as our eucalyptus or peppermint, at roughly 2–3 drops per 10ml.
- Cuticles and nails. A drop rubbed in.
- Massage. On its own or blended.
Worth knowing
It is a rich oil and takes a moment to absorb. Use sparingly and give it time. Not the best choice on acne-prone facial skin. Patch test if your skin is sensitive.
Storage
Cool, dark cupboard with the cap closed. Light and heat turn oils rancid.
